boston red sox vs cleveland indians

im a red sox fan now, i have the hat to prove it. and tonight i went to my first red sox game at fenway park, my experience was almost complete apart from a famous fenway frank, however a scalpor robbed me of my last 75 bucks to see the game, so i sat in the middle of some fat americans ,while they gorged on all sorts of stadium foodstuffs , feeling like my first red sox experience was almost complete if only for a couple more bucks, -stupid debit card day limits. the seats were good, i was just behind third base. 7-6 sox, in the last , good close game

boston is a pleasant city to say the least, i don't know if it is because i have just come from nyc that i am so impressed with the cleanliness and safer streets, but it is really one of my favourite cities , i liken it to brisbane more than anything else. it has the attitude of a smallish town but in the body of a city, the subway system is a welcome relief they aren't saunas full of sweating homeless people, boston is close to amorillo texas of my top us cities so far, the only difference is you wear a sox hat instead of a cowboy hat , and vote blue instead of red, i heard john kerry grew up just down the road from this hostel. the bars are great , a little pricey but very nice atmosphere. it would be a safe city to raise a family

mark walhberg, matt damon and ben affleck are all bostonians and boston was where the world first got to see the declaration of independance in 1776 after it was originally drawn up and signed in philadelphia pensylvania, and who could forget the boston tea party, so there is a lot of history here, but once again i have failed to maximise my time in such historic places and wind up spending my days in large faceless conglomorate malls.

if you're wondering why this post seems a little more articulate than others, it is because i am having tonight off from drinking.

one red paper clip - i have the link up now for the guy who had a dream to get a house, he didn't work he just started with a paper clip and kept trading up on his blogspot till he got a house, some of the things he got along the way are crazy , like an afternoon with alice cooper, it's worth a look. i am going to start with a brett favre trading card from the 2006 season so it will be his last, and i want to end up with a case of jim beam, or a house would be good too
