Fireman Dan

Today was the activities fair, with all the different clubs and intermurauls you can join.
i am now a member of
-le cross team
-baseball team
-juggling guild
-filmmakers society
-surfers club (the beach is four hours away!)
-radio channel
-international students club
-existentialist club
-ultimate frisbee society
-volunteer firefighters

i will have to wittle it down to about three, but i will definately be a firefighter, i get to ride in the big american fire engines, and do a twelve hour night shift once a week from 6pm to 6am, where i will be with a group of full timers and ride along with them.

Dupree the role model seeing as i am living my life based on the philosphic principals set down by dupree in the film 'you me and dupree' i am about half way through the movie, so i have done all the drinking and stuffing around, and now i am using cycling to get my life back on track. Another reason is because faulkner and the whole campus is very spread out , it sort of branches off into the community, it's vast, very vast.

this is my sweet ride, i bought it for 53 bucks at target, the brakes dont work the best, i have to know about fifty meters in advance when i want to stop, and the handlebars are loose (but what else can you expect from some disgruntled assembler at the back of target) but nothing a few tools shouldnt fix .
